ABOUT ME

Renee Marchol was a writer and filmmaker before she became a two-wheeler bicyclist at age 9.

Her first bike without training wheels was a green and yellow and called Cabbage Patch Monstrosity.

Her first self-published story was in elementary school: a hardback bound with yarn and cover shaped like a castle.

She entertained her peers and bought some time not being beat up by the bad kids by putting recognizable classmates in starring roles in fiction that her elementary school teachers read to the class .

She wrote video scripts for her parents to film and her siblings played actors on weekends.

As a grown-up, big companies from tech entertainment hired her to write marketing ad copy and coordinate social media promotions. She continues to ride bikes and give them names. She no longer rides the Cabbage Patch Monstrosity and owns a Schwinn called Teal Tornado.

On her off hours, she runs camera for indie films. She also teaches videography and live, true storytelling on stage for authors.
